their favorite color is purple too so they are loving it. The performance of it is good. It was missing the charger so I had to buy it - was told by seller that creative no longer includes it in their packages and suggested I use the plug it came with that attaches to the computer to charge up. That took forever. I bought the charger at the creative website since it charges up faster using that. Would highly recommend for someone who likes music but doesn't have a huge collection.
